Ohno has already scored a total of seven Olympic medals with two at these games.
Ohno slipped in a race last weekend during the 1500m and dropped to last place. Without quitting, he came from behind to capture the bronze medal in an awe-inspiring finish.
Ohno will also be part of the 5000 meter relay race which is also scheduled for Friday night when the 500m finals take place.
No confirmation at this time if Ohno will be trying for the 2014 USA Olympic team
